Unto us a child will be born. That was the promise. A
Son will be given and His name would be called
Wonderful, Counselor, the Everlasting Father, the Prince
of Peace. Is it Christmas yet?
Wise rulers from the East would come to bring gifts of gold
and such. They would kneel in worship and then go home a
different way. Their adoration would be the stuff of
songs and praise for centuries to come. Where are they?
Have they come? Have they gone? Is it Christmas yet?
Revelation: The Child that is to be born is the joyful spirit
of expectation in each of our hearts. The Wonderful
Counselor, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace is the
whole and wholesome Presence of Divine Thought in our
minds, and loving feelings in our hearts. Only the one
who reads these words can answer the question: "Is it
Christmas yet? "
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and his name shall be called: Wonderful, Counselor, the
Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

On a happy church web site, www.cutemple.org. every Friday
is T.G.I.F. day in the LIFE-BUILDER feature. We
celebrate and have fun making up new uses for the
expression, T.G.I.F.
To many T.G.I.F. simply means, "Thank God, It's Friday"
(the end of the work week). To them, it is a time for
merriment and relaxation and maybe a drink of carrot
juice or distilled water. But, T.G.I.F. can be whatever
we want it to mean. Thank God, It's Fun. Thank God's
Invisible Force. Thank God, It's Finished.
As we think about the Christmas season let us consider:
"Thank God, It's Fulfilled." The promise of Peace of
Mind, Strength of Body, and an Everlasting Awareness of
the Presence of God is fulfilled. T.G.I.F. indeed.
Affirm: "Thank God, I'm Free. Thank God, I'm Fulfilled."
"And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord, and my
spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior."
Luke 1:46-47

Do not tarry for even an
instant. When the opportunity arises to know the truth,
the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, GO FIRST AND
FULLY TO GOD.
Let your prayer be that you know God in the present
tense, not a God of the ancient past, or a God of some
future, faraway time and place. Pray that you know the
current and active Presence of the Eternal God, the
Eternal Spirit that is within you, NOW — in the moment
that is at hand.
Now, go ahead and claim your access to the Divine
Creativity and Intelligence. Let your prayer be the
Prayer of the Now, the Prayer used in the
1,000-Voices-in-Prayer program of
www.cutemple.org:
I totally release the past.
The future is not yet come.
In the mystical moment that is
NOW, I live. Thank You, God. Amen.
You might ask: Who can pray such a prayer as this? The
answer: You can! And ... you can do it, NOW. Thank You,
God. Amen.
"... and the Lord shall guide you continually."
Isaiah 58:11

"Through the Power and Authority of the Christ in me, I
totally release the past. The future IS NOT yet come. In
the mystical, God-Aware moment, that is NOW, I live.
Thank You, God.
Amen."
I do not need to rely on my human history and
capabilities to pray such a prayer. I can rely totally
on the Presence of the Christ Spirit in me, "the same
mind that was in Christ Jesus." I can call upon this
all-knowing, all-loving Mind to exercise its eternal
authority. I commission it to cleanse from my soul the
limitations of any prior unproductive or unpleasant
experiences.
I release even the joys of the past, knowing that they
were only God's appetizers for the present. In this
moment, I do not attempt to live in the future,
postponing my blessings to another time and place. I
live triumphantly in this Moment, knowing that all of
God is with me in the Moment that is NOW. Thank You,
God. Amen.
"Behold, now is the accepted time."

Through the authority of the Spirit of God in me, I see
myself as being whole, healthy, and complete. In this
moment, all of me. Spirit-Soul-Body, is at peace -
healed. I click on the light of freedom in my Soul, and
all is well. Thank You, God. Amen.
With the light of freedom shining brightly in me, I am
healed by_the Power and Grace of the Spirit of God in
Me. This is an immediate and comprehensive healing. I
give thanks for its lasting effects. My prayer becomes
an act of gratitude for the healing that is NOW. I thank
You, God. Amen.
With the joy of wholeness ringing in my heart, I behold
healing not only for my acquaintances and friends, but
also for all people everywhere. I see through their
outer shells to the Holy Light within them. I recognize
that it is the same Light that blazes in me. My prayer
for them and for me becomes: We are whole. We are
complete. Thank You, God. Amen.
"Your faith has made you whole."
